Dr. Jonathan Rivers
Executive Director and Founder
Dr. Jonathan Rivers founded PI EPSILON ALPHA SIGMA SOCIAL ORGANIZATION FOUNDATION INCORPORATE with a vision of creating a more equitable society through structured social support and ethical leadership training. With over twenty-five years of experience in the nonprofit sector and a doctorate in Social Policy from a prestigious university, Dr. Rivers brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for community service to his role. His leadership is characterized by a unique blend of strategic thinking and genuine empathy, ensuring that the foundation remains focused on its mission while adapting to new challenges in the social landscape. He has authored several influential papers on social responsibility and is a frequent speaker at national conferences, where he advocates for innovative approaches to community development and individual empowerment. Dr. Rivers is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of social leaders, personally overseeing the foundation’s executive training programs and ensuring that the core values of the organization are upheld at every level of operation.
Sarah Miller
Program Director
Sarah Miller serves as our Program Director, where she is responsible for the meticulous design, implementation, and evaluation of all foundation initiatives to ensure maximum impact. With a background in educational psychology and over fifteen years of experience in program management within the social sector, Sarah ensures that our offerings are both scientifically sound and deeply impactful for our diverse membership. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to inspire her team to achieve excellence in every task, no matter how small or complex. Sarah believes that the key to a successful program is a deep understanding of the participants’ unique needs, and she spends much of her time engaging directly with our members to gather feedback and refine our strategies accordingly. Her commitment to evidence-based practice has significantly improved our outcomes over the years, making her an invaluable asset to our organization and a trusted mentor to our staff and volunteers.
Michael Chen
Community Outreach Coordinator
Michael Chen is the driving force behind our community engagement and partnership initiatives, working tirelessly to build bridges between the foundation and the wider world. With a degree in Communications and a natural talent for building lasting relationships, Michael works to connect our foundation with local businesses, government agencies, and other nonprofits to maximize our collective resources. He believes that collaboration is the absolute key to solving complex social issues and has successfully established numerous partnerships that have significantly expanded our resources and our reach. Michael is a familiar and welcome face at community events in Marysville, where he passionately advocates for our mission and encourages residents to get involved in our work. His energetic and approachable nature makes him highly effective at mobilizing volunteers and securing vital donations, ensuring that our foundation always has the support it needs to continue its vital work in the community.
Elena Rodriguez
Lead Educator and Curriculum Specialist
Elena Rodriguez brings a passion for transformative learning and pedagogical excellence to her role as our Lead Educator and Curriculum Specialist. With a Master’s degree in Education and a specialization in adult learning theories, Elena develops the workshops and educational materials that form the core of our personal development programs. She is dedicated to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where every individual feels empowered to explore new ideas, challenge their assumptions, and develop new skills for the modern world. Elena’s innovative approach to curriculum design incorporates the latest technology and pedagogical techniques, ensuring that our members receive a world-class education that is both relevant and accessible. She also conducts extensive training sessions for our volunteer tutors, sharing her expertise and ensuring that our high standards of educational excellence are maintained throughout all foundation offerings.
